Club Development Update
As the winter starts to leave us and a windy spring takes over, the
club buildings are starting to take shape.
John Ross and Ant Drew have been busy preparing the buildings to
welcome all of our Junior and Senior players for the first night of
their respective coaching session.
While there is still a lot of work to complete, I hope you all agree
that they are looking really good.
Senior Fixtures List
We are still working on the summer fixtures list for the Juniors
but the leage have produced the fixtures for the 1st XI and there are
some friendly fixtures also confirmed.

Introduction To Cricket Coaching Course
We are delighted that we are bursting at the seams with young
cricketers but we urgently need more coaching support if the club
is to continue to grow.
To help with this, the club is hosting an Introduction to Cricket
Coaching course which will be held at Loch Leven Community Campus on
Sunday 4th May 2013 from 9.30-4.30.
No previous knowledge or experience of cricket or coaching is required
to attend this course and by attending, you will not be expected to
coach every night, we are happy to be flexible.
The cost will be in the region of £10-£20 per person and we very much
hope some of our parents, players and older juniors will take this
first step on the coaching ladder and help to increase the club
Please donít hesitate to contact
club secretary, Kirsteen Ross, for further information or to book a
The Wee Stramash Fundraising Book
During the summer many of our juniors took part in the "Wee Stramash".
At the Junior Awards night we showed a video with many of the photos
from it and told you that we would soon be producing a photo book.
Well the photo book is now ready, here is a preview of it...
As many of you will be aware, we will be starting construction of a new
pavilion, to shelter in when it rains, so this book is also a
fundraiser for us.
If you would like to buy a copy, all you have to do is to follow the
order it directly.
If you have any questions about it, please contact Ant Drew.
Junior Selected for Tayside and Fife
Congratulations to our 8 juniors who have been selected for the Tayside
and Five Performance Squad.
They are Jamie Gibson, Durness Mackay-Champion, Euan Nicol, Finn Hall,
Jack McCreanor, Stuart McCreaner, Toby Douglas and Lachlan Peterson.
Good luck from all of us at Kinross-shire Cricket Club.
The club also holds a small
stock of kit should members require clothing at short notice.
The aim of the 100 club is to
raise much needed funds for the Cricket Club.
It is hoped that the club
will have at least 100 members, but it will be possible to have more
than 1 membership.
Each membership will cost
£4.00 per month, paid by Standing Order (see enclosed form) or a lump
sum of £48 paid annually. 50% of this income will benefit the club and
50% will paid out in prizes, through a monthly draw and a larger
