Kinross-shire Cricket Club AGM
Dear Club Members,
You are cordially invited to attend the club AGM on
Friday 31st January 2014 at Loch Leven Community Campus, Kinross in the
Conference Room starting at 6.30pm. Please do come along to the AGM –
it is your chance to have a say on the future direction of the club and
also to vote for those you think best to run and manage the club.
Please don’t be put off thinking you’ll be ‘roped into doing something’
– that is not the case. If however you are keen to get more involved
with the management of the club, please don’t hesitate to get back in
The agenda can be downloaded
along with the proposed
changes to the club constitution. The proposed revisions are
shown in red. A copy of
the current constitution can be downloaded for a comparison. The
of the previous AGM and the 2013 accounts will be available on the
Any “apologies” should be intimated to Kirsteen or any other committee
member by 31st January.
Introduction To Cricket Coaching CourseWe are delighted that we are bursting at the seams with young cricketers but we urgently need more coaching support if the club
is to continue to grow.
To help with this, the club is hosting an Introduction to Cricket
Coaching course which will be held at Loch Leven Community Campus on
Sunday 4th May 2013 from 9.30-4.30.
No previous knowledge or experience of cricket or coaching is required
to attend this course and by attending, you will not be expected to
coach every night, we are happy to be flexible.
The cost will be in the region of £10-£20 per person and we very much
hope some of our parents, players and older juniors will take this
first step on the coaching ladder and help to increase the club
Please don’t hesitate to contact club secretary, Kirsteen Ross, for further information or to book a place.
Better Place To Live Fair
The club will have a stand at the Better Place to Live Fair at the Loch
Leven Community Campus on Saturday 8th March from 10am to 3pm.
We would love to see you all there and if you would you be willing to
“man the stand” for a period of time, please contact us.
The Wee Stramash Fundraising Book
During the summer many of our juniors took part in the "Wee Stramash".
At the Junior Awards night we showed a video with many of the photos
from it and told you that we would soon be producing a photo book.
Well the photo book is now ready, here is a preview of it...
As many of you will be aware, we will be starting construction of a new
pavilion, to shelter in when it rains, so this book is also a
fundraiser for us.
If you would like to buy a copy, all you have to do is to follow the
order it directly.
If you have any questions about it, please contact Ant Drew.

Junior Awards Night
Congratulations to all our Junior Award winners tonight.
You can now follow us on Twitter,
The club also holds a small
stock of kit should members require clothing at short notice.
The aim of the 100 club is to
raise much needed funds for the Cricket Club.
It is hoped that the club
will have at least 100 members, but it will be possible to have more
than 1 membership.
Each membership will cost
£4.00 per month, paid by Standing Order (see enclosed form) or a lump
sum of £48 paid annually. 50% of this income will benefit the club and
50% will paid out in prizes, through a monthly draw and a larger
